That right there is an excellent example of the idiocy of our leadership in the our City. How about 200 million for school work and enough to go into a dedicated kitty for maintainance? The MODOT boondoggles are what I feared would happen with the planned stimulus package. All over the country, the concrete and steel lobbies and the contractor groups are salivating at the thought of all these juicy roadway projects. Well, at least the City is still thinking about the North/South Metro route.
