If the existing government is so entrenched they cannot produce such a document, then it is the place of the citizens to do so and supersede the government.

Such a document would cover both properties. I remember going to Sportsman Park as a child and young man. There were no massive parking lots surrounding the stadium like today. The city surrounded the stadium, as it should be.

More parking lots are not the solution.

I am most disappointed in the Catholic Church for not trying to find common ground. Especially considering the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kirkwood was recently looking for an executive director for Eco Justice.

So I guess the Franciscan Sisters and the Archdiocese are going entirely different paths. One wants to nurture and enhance the environment and community, the other wants to break down society with yet another parking lot while squandering yet more energy.

The chasm in our society is very serious and real. Even the spiritual leadership in the community has not a clue.GMichaudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17306482392151340818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826793.post-82152865084332714022009-06-23T10:01:08.063-05:002009-06-23T10:01:08.063-05:00I'm not familiar with the process. Does this mean we are definietly losing the battle, or will there be a series of appeals where we may still have a chance to save it?

I have never particularly liked this building, but I am most definitely opposed to a parking lot in its place.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05621466355045703573noreply@blogger.com
