Incessant self promotion doesn't seem to hurt anyone else in this town. You do your bit with no compensation, and (likely) can't afford to pay some slick firm to promote you for you, yet you regularly ask us to donate to non profits trying to better our soon again great city (vs. squander it), it's appreciated, and congrats on the tip of the 'best of' voters hats.
Is the incessant self-promotion necessary, or does it diminish the effectiveness of your advocacy?

ReplyDeleteThat is not an accurate description of this site -- nor of the inclinations of its authors.

ReplyDeleteMichael,
ReplyDeleteI'm sad to say that your post sounds remarkably Callow-esque. It's as if you're channeling MayorSlay.com with your snarky throwaway line.

"incessant self-promotion"
ReplyDeleteHmmm. In this post I don't see a roll of twenty emails people sent to EOA telling the authors how great they are. Just sayin'.
Two, ten word sentences hardly amount to shameless self-promotion. Cognrats.
ReplyDeleteYou don't deserve any recognition, for you have done nothing.

ReplyDeleteFYI: "for" is not a conjunction.
Congratulations! Well-deserved.
