There's a new website called "Save the San Luis" -- referring to the threatened San Luis Apartments at Lindell and Taylor in the Central West End -- located at NoParkingLotonLindell.com.
Also, last weekend at its annual membership meeting, Landmarks Association announced that the San Luis was one of the additions to this year's Eleven Most Endangered Places list.

We'll eventually need a fairly good idea of what an adaptive reuse would look like, so those who sympathize can understand why the building should not only be saved, but not stand vacant. The flier was posted tonight along Euclid Avenue, and this is just the beginning. There is still very much formulating to take place. We should see comments and suggestions begin to appear on the San Luis website.
