Giles collection, Building Arts Foundation in the news

We returned to St. Louis today to find this article:

Salvager gets his act together

It's good to see some media recognition of the massive project that the St. Louis Building Arts Foundation is undertaking -- although the article's title is poorly-chosen.

How awesome!
My in-laws were in town recently, and we visited the City Museum. They enjoyed the whole place, of course; but didn't really want to see the architecture exhibit. I told them it was my favorite part of the museum, and out of courtesey, they came along. 2 seconds later, they were enthralled.
When we left, it was the architecture they talked about, rather than the other wonderful attractions the City Museum provides.
(grin)
I expect I'll be spending a lot of time in East St. Louis when the architecture library becomes available.
