St. Louis University is set to wreck the livery stable at the northwest corner of Locust and Josephine Baker -- a beautiful building that visually ties together the burgeoning Locust Street business district with Grand Center.
The replacement? Parking.

What, they are actually going to have someone go outside of their precious fenced off campus? Let them build a garage on campus. Its enough of the city kowtowing to SLU. The city needs to learn it has the leverage, not the other way around. SLU isn't going to move, make them put some quality in.
Parking for what? Scared guppies from the burbs aren't going to walk to campus from a lot built here.
