St. Mary's Infirmary for sale again
St. Mary's Infirmary is once again for sale. It's listed for $1,450,000.00. The buildings previously were under contract, and had sold to the current rehab-planning owners in 2003, but apparently no one can get anything started there.

If $1,450,000 is the list price, then surely the seller will accept a $600,000 offer. Oh, but wait, that only works if the seller is the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Maybe the owners of the City Hospital will be allowed to handle the bid process to make sure that it gets torn down so that only the better-known historic hospital in the neighborhood gets to stand...
